Jacqueline Duncan has been shortlisted for the prestigious Summer Exhibition at one of England’s leading art institutions, the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
Two original sculptures, Relationship and Entanglement, were submitted for jury evaluation. Relationship has been selected for the next stage, and the artist will now send the work for the final round of judging. The final selection results will be announced on 30 May 2025.
About the Summer Exhibition 2025 at the RA London
The Summer Exhibition is the world’s largest open submission art show. Held annually without interruption since 1769, it features a diverse range of contemporary works, including prints, paintings, films, photography, sculpture, and architectural pieces.
The 2025 exhibition, curated by renowned architect Farshid Moussavi, will showcase works from both emerging talents and established artists, including Royal Academicians. This year’s theme, “Dialogues,” explores artistic conversations across different media, materials, and perspectives.

About Jacqueline Duncan
Jacqueline Duncan is a Devon-based artist. Born in 1967, she studied at the London College of Fashion before living and working in Milan, São Paulo, and New York, where she built a career in fashion and photography before transitioning fully into the visual arts.
Duncan’s work is noted for its precision, intricate detail, and striking interplay of light, shadow, and movement.
Her work has been exhibited in both solo and group shows over the past 25 years, including the RA Summer Exhibition (2024), the London Art Biennale (2023), the Royal West of England Academy (2019, 2023), and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo (2005).
