I live and work in a former 18th-century grain mill on the River Dart, where the studio is filled with natural light and overlooks the estuary. The tide rising and falling creates a constantly changing view. Living here allows me the flexibility to work during both day and night, sometimes alone and sometimes with assistants who share the space with my cats.
The studio is surrounded by water, with skylights and windows that let in light and provide views of the water and greenery. This connection to nature and the omnipresence of water inspire creativity and offer a peaceful setting for my artistic practice.
Additionally, two assistants are working temporarily for me in the run-up to the Bankside gallery show, contributing to the collaborative and inspiring atmosphere in the studio.
